The Peralta Consort is a mixed ensemble performing music written before 1800 on a mixture of period and modern instruments.
The Peralta Consort was formed in 2006, and is based at Foothill Presbyterian Church in San Jose (www.fcpcsanjose.org/) where they rehearse, and perform in the wonderful acoustic space of the Foothill sanctuary, representing the early music program at Foothill. The group also performs at other venues around the San Francisco Bay Area.
The Peralta Consort is a non-profit affiliate of the San Francisco Early Music Society.
