The Portland Rossini Club was founded in 1869 and incorporated in 1871. It has had the distinction of being the oldest active music club in the National Federation of Music Clubs. Committed to sharing their deep and abiding love for music, its members endeavor to express the highest possible standards of performance and musicianship. The Rossini Club provides classical music to the public and seeks to educate young Maine musicians.
