I bought a legendary concert hall in 2004: aeolianhall.ca After making it into a Registered Canadian Charity, I launched a number of programs including El Sistema Aeolian, a free, intensive, after-school music program for kids with barriers to participation in music education. I've also presented concerts with names like Chick Corea, The Vienna Boys Choir and Fred Hersch. It was really enriching to get off the road and have a home to make music in. I retired from this work after more than 20 years on December 31st, 2024. I have lots of dreams and aspirations for the future and look forward to playing more. I love connecting with people and my listeners have introduced me to so many great composers and works! Thank you for that! I also love to do public speaking about my work and have done many speaking engagements including a TEDx talk on the power of music.
