Paraphraze was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee but has also spent a significant amount of his life in Austin and Houston, Texas. He has always been passionate about the arts and a music lover. His mother sang in the church choir and his father was constantly listening to various genres of music around him. At the age of 14, he bought a CD player and started take his father's CD's to school. His main inspirations were 2Pac, Kanye West, and Z-Ro. Feeling like an outcast most of his life, he found his voice through hip hop. And the rest is history... in the making.
