Joe Parillo, pianist, composer, songwriter, and Steinway artist has performed in Brazil, Italy, Germany, South Wales, Taiwan and New Zealand. He has performed with the Glenn Miller Orchestra and vibraphonist Jay Hoggard and as featured artist for the 150th Anniversary of Steinway and Sons.
In 2001 he was named to the Grammy nomination list for Best Musical Composition for his song One Day in January. He has recorded and produced the albums SongBook, Clouds, Almost Carefree, Block Island Summer, Morning In The Garden, SandBox, Segments, and Turn Around Back. They are available through his Neoga Records label. He wrote and produced a master class CD, Using Altered Scales to Create Improvised Lines, for Jazz Player magazine. He is a member of the BMI Lehman-Engel Musical Theater Workshops in New York, and a 2004 recipient of the Steinway excellence award. Since 2011 he has been host of WCRI’s Jazz After Dinner radio show. Joe continues to compose and record since retiring in 2020.
