From the other side of the pond (UK) to the American Dream. Early years were booking bands in the top NY nightclubs.
Owning a nightclub in The Hamptons with appearances by Henny Youngman, Jerry Seinfeld, Robert Klien, Tubby Boots,
Morton Downey, Jr., and many more super acts. Managing magic act Gemini, and the comedy team of The Most Brothers.
Then by a stroke of luck lightening, Rick found himself on stage introducing acts on a New Year’s Eve when the emcee failed
to show due to weather. The headliners, a comedy duo, were delayed to the stage and yelled out, “Rick, tell them a joke.” He
only had one joke that tickled him and he told it. The audience reaction was a forceful blast of laughter and the rapture was the
start of his comedy foray.
