This channel is an ongoing test of a from-scratch computer program designed to provide weather information in a natural, conversational way using multiple technologies — including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I work on the scripts almost every evening for an hour or so, constantly refining the system in hopes of improving it each week. It’s been more challenging than expected to feed factual NWS alerts into an AI model and have it humanize the language while keeping the information 100% accurate — but that’s part of the learning process! I’m using this channel to explore my own capabilities (and limitations) as I continue developing and experimenting with this technology.
