Despite growing up in the era of Go-Go, the former frontman of the Unbreakable
Band and DMV native known as Solbson always found himself captivated by the
allure of Hip-Hop culture. Heavily influenced by his eldest brother’s quest to
attain the hottest new releases in rap, the two shared innumerable sleepless
nights, jamming out to the likes of 2Pac, Notorious BIG, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony
and many more. By the tender age of 7, the rapper would secretly recite rhymes
from his favorite artists before daring to add in a few additional bars of his own.
Although he’d eventually become known among his peers for his flashy freestyles,
he was still living in the time of Go-Go and it wasn’t until much later in his
teenage years that his commitment to rap would really mature. Deriving his name
