Meredith Lazowski is an alternative folk/country musician based in Toronto, Canada.
After years of putting music on hold to pursue a career in design, Meredith is making her return to the music scene. Her debut full-length album “Other way home” produced by Justin Rutledge is set to be released in June 2022. The album is comprised of a series of songs that have been written by Meredith over the past 15 years, some being the first songs she has ever written. The songs touch on past experiences and family roots in the west and east of Canada - an almost retrospective of the past 15 years. Most of the songs have not seen audiences other than family and friends who would join the Lazowski’s for family post-dinner jam sessions over the years.
Meredith has been seen playing various venues across Toronto including residencies at The Cameron House and has also played the notable Blue Bird Cafe open mic located in Nashville.
