Videographer, Bruce Merwin
Brief Bio
After four years in the US Navy Bruce Merwin used his GI benefits to receive two undergraduate degrees, one in technical theatre and one in cinematography. His first degree from St. Johns River College in Florida and his second degree from Columbia College in Hollywood, California. After receiving his BA degree in 1980, he started Merwin Films as a freelance filmmaker, filming cable TV shows and selling advertising on the cable TV shows he directed filmed, edited and produced in north east Florida, here Bruce developed his interest in visualizing everyday people stories for the screen.
