Die Section burst onto the metal scene like a whirlwind in 1999, fueled by the creative vision of future filmmaker Brandon Slagle and the thunderous drumming of Brad Fincher of death metal giants Devourment. With the backing of Wayne Static of Static-X , Die Section quickly carved a niche for themselves with their unique blend of industrial aggression and metal ferocity. Despite their growing success, internal tensions eventually led to the dissolution of Die Section in 2003. While the band's tenure may have been short-lived, their impact on the genre was profound, paving the way for future generations to explore the boundaries of sound and vision. 20 years later, Brandon (with the encouragement of Brad and Crossbreed frontman James Rietz) began putting together the first new music with Die Section in decades, culminating in the release of "Ruination" in June 2024.
