Since 2010 Thomas Arndt, founder of Monoplugs, is researching alternative sequencer paradigms and came up with its first commercial product B-Step Sequencer on Christmas 2013 and released version 2 in 2014. In 2015, Thomas was taking a break from all the sequencing algorithms and has spend its time to develop a huge monophonic synthesizer called "Monique".
