Kat Epple's music is celestial, yet earthy, primeval, and technologically innovative. This channel includes videos of Kat Epple in concert, albums, and film scores. Synthesist, flutist, EWI-ist, composer, Kat Epple, has released 26 music albums internationally, is an Emmy and Peabody Award winner. She is a member of the classic Electronic Space Music duo "Emerald Web" in addition to The Devin Townsend Project and Sonic Combine. Original music compositions for tv and film scores include: National Geographic, Nova, CNN, Carl Sagan, The Guiding Light, PBS, Apple Computers, NASA, and more. Kat Epple has performed at The United Nations, US National Gallery, London's Union Chapel, Guggenheim Museums, Museum of Modern Art, Hollywood Palace, Metropolitan Museum of Art, for President Bill Clinton, with Symphony Orchestra, and with Merce Cunningham Dance Company. She travels the world, collects indigenous flutes from many cultures, which she often incorporates in her original compositions.
