The Founding Members were created at the time after a successful jam session that was not planned in advance. Since then, this illustrious company has made unsurpassed idiosyncratic music. Started as a big band, unspoiled paths were explored to all corners of improvised music: probably not your kind of Jazz. Due to personal circumstances and a legal battle with the record company, the ensemble was unable to perform live for a long time, but now the remaining founding members - the duo Van Genugten and Versteegde - are making themselves heard again with a new repertoire in consultation with texts and light images of the poets Jace van de Ven and Maarten van den Elzen. The improvised music is created on the spot and will therefore sound different with every performance. These founders create constantly changing music, which offers a never repetitive, organic experience to enjoy a unique ever-evolving orchestration of contemporary music.
