DETROIT BUREAU OF SOUND is an experimental music curation platform with a simple objective: to deepen your connection with sound, itself. Weaving together the boldest forms of sonic art, DBS creates intense experiences for the ears and more. We are about as grass-roots and DIY as it gets - from avant-garde classical music to experimental electronic and far beyond, our aim is to present a mixed bag of musical events that engage your senses. We've hosted shows at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit, the Detroit Institute of Arts, Trinosophes, Spread Art Detroit, and worked with New Music Detroit, Shigeto, My Brightest Diamond, and so many more. We present, promote, and perform anything that's unusual.
