Whether reinterpreting classic jazz repertoire or debuting modern compositions, saxophonist Aidan Siemann adds passion to every note he plays. A powerful and positive presence on the bandstand, Aidan has performed internationally and has won awards in jazz festivals and competitions across the country, including the YoungArts Competition.
He has shared the stage with modern jazz legends such as Terri Lynne Carrington, Orrin Evans, Warren Wolf, and Helen Sung, performing at venues like SFJazz and Jazz at Lincoln Center. Aidan performs regularly both as a sideman and leading his own groups.
Originally from Seattle, WA, Aidan is now based in New York. Aidan has a Bachelor’s Degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where he studied with David Sanchez, Chad Lefkowitz-Brown, Matt Brewer, and Joshua Redman, among others.
