Hello, my name is Chris Kennedy, born in Ilkley, Yorkshire, England in 1942. Between 1968 and 1986, I lived in the Balearics, first Ibiza then Formentera. There I played in bands, played solo and in various duos. On a visit to the Netherlands, I met Ivon, who came with me back to Formentera, where we performed as a duo (two voices and guitar). In 1982 we were married, and in '86 we moved permanently to Haarlem, in the Netherlands. Here we coninued to perform together. You can hear her, and see her artwork, on several of the videos here. I also played sometimes in a jazz combo here in Haarlem. Now I am mostly at home, where I occasionally make recordings of myself with my 'Clones'. Originals and pieces from various sources. Recently, these have often been Early Music. These are the recordings you will find on my YouTube channel. I hope you find something to enjoy!
