This channel features clips from the concert "Does it Swing?" performed at the Barbican in June 2010. The show presented swing music to an audience of 6-12 year old students from London and the south of England. It mixed documentary, animation, live music and dance. Featuring live music from Tomorrow's Warriors, and members of Jazz at Lincoln Center. Animation created by Jarek Radecki. Some of the animation is narrated by Georgia, aged 12 from North London. Tomorrow's Warriors are Pete Edwards,(piano), Graham Godfrey(drums), Yuri Galkin, (bass) and Abram Wilson (trumpet). Members of Jazz at Lincoln Center who performed are Alvin Atkinson (drums), Reginald Thomas, (piano) and Wycliffe Gordon, (trombone). "Does it Swing?" was written and directed by Geoff Johnston, G.C.S.E. New clips will be added when I've edited them. I hope you enjoy them.
