Simpleton is the soloproject of twenty-one year old songwriter Chris Berendsen. Combining the sounds of bands like The Strokes, The Wombats and MGMT, Simpleton creates songs that are characterised by catchy hooks, static beats and coming of age lyrics. The singles range from guitar driven indierock and synth based altpop.
