📌 5-Minute Abacus (5M Abacus) Start your abacus practice 5 minutes a day, before homework or study time. ➤ 1. Print the PDF file, and ➤ 2. Scan the QR code to open the YouTube video. Let’s just 5 minutes a day with the abacus. If you look at the PDF, it has ten pages— enough for about two weeks if you do one page each day. I print the worksheets for the kids and check each day to see if they’ve done their homework. They use the QR code to open the YouTube video on their own. When I first gave them just the worksheets, they often sat drawing on the side instead of actually doing the problems. But now that there’s audio, they start right away, which has been great. I believe this helps them slowly build good study habits. After finishing the abacus part, we review any mistakes and then flip the sheet over to practice mental math.
