XERAPHIM is a darkwave, post-punk, and goth project from a lifelong DIY musician shaped by years of obsession with sound, songwriting, and self-production. Raised on Christian pop punk and post-hardcore through his youth pastor’s CD collection, he played drums in church bands before losing his faith and diving into Austin’s emo and skramz scene. When the pandemic hit, he turned inward—teaching himself synthesis, sound design, mixing, and mastering until he found his voice: analog synths, drum machines, baritone vocals, and mathy guitar lines woven into a brooding, emotional sound.
