DINHO DINHO is an indie rock four-piece made up of New York born and raised musicians. Eventual frontman, Shaan Ken Rao, started the the project as a moniker to put out music. Soon after teaming up with singer-songwriter Thomas Norton to perform the songs they’d written in college, they enlisted the help of renowned drummer Colum Enrique, the talented multi instrumentalist, Dominic LaMorte, and started booking live shows across the city. DINHO has headlined classic venues such as Mercury Lounge, Bowery Electric, Arlene's Grocery, Bowery Electric, Berlin NYC, and more.
After playing a few live shows, the band recorded their first studio album, "When I Fall," DINHO DINHO's 4th release, to demonstrate the group's new sound. The lo-fi, folk, punk nature of Shaan's music has been fully fleshed out after coalescing with Thomas' emo/indie songwriting, the fat and yet refined bass heavy sound lead by Dominic, and the quantized perfection of Colum Enrique's sense of beat.
