A music duo from Southern California, Matt and JuJu started playing music together after JuJu's band with her sister, The Sisters and Misters, broke up and she wanted to branch out and write and record her own music. They started practicing together helping JuJu find her sound as a solo artist. They also started learning some of their favorite cover songs for fun and played open mics together around town. At this time, Matt had his own solo project he was working on as well, but through their experiences playing music together they fell in love and decided to combine their separate projects to create a duo where they would incorporate both their writing styles and backgrounds in music.
