CICERO, located in Oslo Science Park, is a private foundation formed soon thirty years ago, providing interdisciplinary research of the highest scientific quality, including to the IPCC and the Arctic Council.
We are a provider of climate knowledge and aim to identify and understand major challenges posed by climate change. Ranging broadly across disciplines of natural and social sciences, our research produces knowledge that can help reduce climate change and strengthen international cooperation on the issue.
CICERO’s core areas of research are the physical climate system, methods and costs of emission reductions, climate impacts, social and infrastructural vulnerability and adaptation, climate finance , the EU and international agreements.
On our YouTube-account we share videos and presentations by our researchers or that are relevant to CICERO.
