My name is Rebecca, I'm a ichthyologist (Fish Biologist), Fishkeeper and Doctorate (PhD) student. I research the evolution and ecology of Loricariidae (pleco's, whiptail catfishes, Otocinclus and L numbers) in the England, UK. This channel is to promote ethical, progressive and scientific in the aims of advancing Freshwater Fishkeeping. Most videos are focused on plecos/L Numbers, catfishes and biology. I have an MRes in Biosystematics where I studied corals and Loricariid' and a BSc (Hons) in Biology with a dissertation on the phylogenetics of Callichthyidae (Corydoras, Hoplosternum etc.). Previously I've worked in aquarium stores for 6 years, written articles and given talks on a range of topics. My opinions are my own personal opinions.
