The New England Americana Association is a community based organization, seeking to serve as a catalyst for artists in the New England music scene by promoting the diverse musical styles that make up Americana as well as other Americana-adjacent music including (but not limited to) Folk, Country, Celtic, Polka, Alt Country, Bluegrass and Blues. The New England Americana Fest was first held in 2007, put together by the New England Americana Association, a committee of volunteers consisting of music journalists, radio personalities, talent buyers and other general Americana music enthusiasts.
