Making music is an absolute personal journey for Sanket Puranik. He believes in his music to be free of all the shackles or so called genres. Being an introvert in nature, his music is what gives wings to his expressions, sets him free.
Experimenting with different soundscapes and musical ideologies is the essence of his compositions. His compositions are open to different interpretations, taking you through different emotions and visuals; weaving a story in and around them. Poetry and literature has been integral part of all his compositions. Love towards abstract poetry is often seen his work.
He has composed two marathi music albums "Tuzyakade" and "Swapnadhun"."Tuzyakade" is a 5 songs album sung by Jasraj Joshi and Aanandi Joshi which features classic marathi poems written by legendary marathi poets Sant Tukaram, Kusumagraj, Arati Prabhu and Grace. "Swapnadhun" has 7 songs sung by renowned singers Ketaki Mategaonkar, Hrishikesh Ranade, Jasraj Joshi and Prajakta Ranade.
