sinkhole city is comprised of ryan holloway (bass, vocals), lewis clark (keys, synths) and kalle govan (drums). originally starting as a solo project, the band officially formed in 2021. focusing primarily on lyricism and meaning, they share their passion and intensity for music through hard-hitting drums, driving synths and punchy bass lines. with a background in playing music for the catholic church, in their hometown of ballarat, the lead singer delivers a message of hope and faith that stems beyond human mortality and is grounded by the adjacent influences of the other band members. with a four-track e.p having been released in 2020 (‘Under The Guise Of Placidity’), new music on the way, and a firm belief that performing live is the most important facet of music… sinkhole city is ready to make their mark on the scene.
