But then everything changed. The lockdown year led me by an unexpected fate to Portugal, far away from the original destination and towards a new perspective. Portugal had a very special impact on me. The culture, the warmth of the people and the depth of fado gave me new insights. After the initial tranquillity and sometimes boredom of village life, I began to interpret fado for my audience. My enthusiasm for travelling the world remains .
