I’m Elise Labott. I talk about America’s role in the world and break down complex international stories by taking you inside global policy debates and introducing you to the players involved.
I am a veteran foreign affairs journalist who writes about geopolitics and America’s role in the world. I’m also an Adjunct Professor at American University’s School of International Service. Previously I was CNN’s Global Affairs Correspondent, covering the State Department – a perch from which I covered seven secretaries of state and traveled to more than 100 countries. I am currently the Edward R. Murrow Press Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations.
