YPF organiseert concerten, concoursen en masterclasses en brengt tevens CD's uit. Om de drie jaar vindt in Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ (Amsterdam) de finale plaats van de YPF Piano Competition, waar de drie grootste jonge pianotalenten dan te bewonderen zijn. Every three years, the final of the YPF Piano Competition takes place in Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ (Amsterdam), where the three greatest young piano talents can be admired.
YPF stelt zich ten doel initiatieven te ontwikkelen, in aanvulling op de muziekscholen en conservatoria, om de kansen voor het schaarse piano toptalent te vergroten. In haar initiatieven neemt YPF het internationale topniveau steeds als standaard en stimuleert jonge, talentvolle pianisten tot excelleren. YPF stimulates young piano talent, is a platform for pianolovers and a catalyst of piano careers on an international level.
