LiVeWiRe grew up absorbing the sounds of House and Techno as a teenager from Glasgow during the early to late 90's. Hooked after his first visit to the now legendary Friday nights at Pure at the Venue in Edinburgh and later Glasgow's own, legendary Subculture on Saturdays at The Sub Club around 94. “I was completely mesmerized by the sound of the 1st and 2nd wave Detroit Techno music and the raw underground House sound coming out of Chicago on labels like Relief and Dance Mania at the time.” With a deep interest in audio engineering and production soon developed by the end of the 90’s and he put out his first vinyl release in 2004 Chicago’s D’lectable Music imprint. Other artists on the label have included Glenn Underground, Mel Hammond, Jamie Principle, E Smoove and more.
