Shifter was formed July of 2012 in a rush to fill a vacant spot at the Vans Warped Tour. Ryan Leblanc (formerly of Wichita Shadows) hooked up with Brandon Ballin (formerly of robots helping clones) to take on the task of creating a 20 min set for the Seattle and Portland dates of the warped tour. Brandon's good friend Hutch White (formerly of Dopiate) completes the power trio and the 3 achieved their goal to play the Vans Warped Tour 2012. Unfortunately Hutch couldn't make the show so Jeremie Fincher (robots helping clones) filled in for the show. Brandon, Ryan and Hutch are a power trio that continues to impress and enthrall the Anchorage metal scene with their creativity and originality.
