The story of the Lords of Oblivion. Canby, Oregon 2006. While driving through town I noticed a particularly chill group of high school students sliding along with an overpowering chill vibe. As a kid I witness a similar vibe in SF's Haight-Ashbury district. Later one of those chilly young men (Nick DeAugustine) came to work at my business. As it turns out, he's a great musician. We started recording music in a warehouse space we called the Subbie. Then it turned out that he had a musical cohort (Eric Christiansen) who was equally musically gifted. These two guys grew up trying to outdo each other musically. Eric started recording at the Subbie too. At that point my goal was maintaining a creative environment and see where it takes us. Overtime we added Bob Thompson on drums which kicked ass, Jake Allen, Alan Monk and a few others. My name is Eric Bekebrede and I did the vocals. So from that point till 2018 I accumulated a vast archive. We have now added Tor Ofsthun for his song writing
