Starting out as a musical project for the sake of a musical project, Dimaryp decided to be a band in the autumn of 2008, and translate their commonalities in taste in music into own compositions. Drawing from a wide array of different influences, including Isis, Katatonia, Khoma and Oceansize, among others, Dimaryp plays a melodic and moody hybrid of rock and metal, not shying away of trying different things.
