Born in Toronto, Lindsey Camara is a Portuguese-Canadian singer/actress, specializing in Jazz and Bossa Nova. Daughter of a music producer, Lindsey is no stranger to the art of recording. Graduating with honors in 'Performing Arts', Lindsey loves theatre and has been featured as the lead singer in bands and venues across the GTA. Lindsey has recently been seen on stage (BMT) at the Rose Theatre in such productions as "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" (Esmeralda), "Beauty and The Beast" (Babette), and "Evita" (Eva Peron) - which lead her to win the prestigious Bravo award for outstanding lead actor in a musical. When she's not rehearsing and performing with her band, you can catch Lindsey in the recording booth, preparing for the release of her upcoming Jazz/Bossa Nova album entitled "Speak Low".
