Tarek Ali is a storyteller, activist, and builder exploring identity, healing, ambition, and the quiet work of becoming yourself.
Long before YouTube, Tarek’s work began offline — founding an LGBTQ nonprofit with chapters across the country, advocating for human rights, and being recognized by the Obama administration, all by the age of 16. He later earned a degree in Biology from Georgia State University and conducted research at institutions including the NIH, Howard University, and Columbia University, developing a lifelong curiosity about human behavior, well-being, and transformation.
Today, Tarek is the host of the GLAAD-nominated, #1 podcast THAT Conversation With Tarek Ali and the founder of several ventures. Through video essays, conversations, & long-form storytelling, he shares reflections on growth, burnout, faith, rebuilding, & learning how to live more honestly.
This channel isn’t about perfection or motivation — it’s about perspective, presence, and forward movement.
