Welcome to S.O.U.L.(Screening Our Unseen Lives) a platform for the work of Black British filmmakers. Each year we host quarterly film and TV industry events known as Celebrate Connect and an annual film festival known as S.O.U.L.Fest. Celebrate:Connect is S.O.U.L.‘s first initiative and was created for 2 reasons: 1) To provide diverse filmmakers with a platform to SHOWCASE their work. 2) To facilitate members of diverse filmmaking communities to MEET AND CONNECT with other industry professionals and encourage collaboration. It is our belief that the better we know one another, the better we’re able to support one another; hence the stronger we’ll be as a community within this industry.
