This, combined with a breakdown in family structure and values, has driven millions of adolescents and young adults to anger, despair, and hopelessness.
This emerging generation - approximately 1 billion people – makes up the largest un-reached people group in the world. In many ways, the Church has become culturally distant, and seemingly irrelevant to their lives. They have a false idea of who Jesus is. They are searching for meaning and purpose, but they are unlikely to look to the Church to find it.
