I'm Johnny Stott, a guitarist & singer/songwriter. My passion for music began at a very young age - my mum and dad have always been into music and owned a juke box with vinyl records, like the ones you find in a pub. We used to sing and dance along to the music around the house. My brother plays the guitar and my sister plays the saxophone. I started my guitar playing following lessons from my brother when I was 7 years old, then following realisation of pure passion and talent for the guitar I began professional lessons. I could write guitar music as soon as I learnt all the chords, writing music helped me get across my passion and emotions without the use of lyrics, which I began to write later on as soon as I knew what life was all about. I'm an engineer by trade but also studied music in college. I've voluntarily taught adults and underprivileged children how to play the guitar. I am so excited to share my passion and talent with the public and hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
