El Presidente is a sound system that’s been spreading sweet reggae music since 2006. Originally founded in Hamburg, Germany, we’ve now got roots in London, Hamburg, and Trinidad, with Espin repping in the UK and Fadda Flow holding it down in Trinidad while Cris Dubz and Matti still repping in Germany Before we spread out, El Presidente was a staple on the German reggae scene, playing every weekend. In 2019, Espin moved to London and has kept the energy alive, playing at Notting Hill Carnival on King Tubbys stage for the last two years and running a regular event called Reggae Renaissance. We’re all about delivering that real reggae experience—from Studio One classics to Roots, Dub, and 90s Dancehall.
