He stood out for his talent and later became active with the Youth Group. He first took the stage in 1974, and since then, he has never been separated from music. Throughout his career, Bujar Qamili has won numerous awards, including first prize at the Shkodra Song Festival, second prize at the "Evening of Folk Music," third prize at the "12 in Hollywood" show, first prize at the "Albanian Folk Song Marathon," first prize at the "International Albanian Folk Song Festival" in Elbasan. He has also won the Golden Disc of Albanian Folk Song. Recently, he received the Audience Award at the "Folk Univers" Festival. For his contribution to music, he has been awarded the highest title given to a singer, "Singer of Order, Naim Frashรซri of Art." Bujar Qamili is also honored with the Order of the Nation.
