Marlin, host of the Plain Values Podcast, and his wife Lisa have been building a life of true meaning and hope for many years. Whether it be founding Plain Values magazine, or the adoption of four incredible children with special needs, they’ve learned how to struggle, and how to live in faith. It’s built around a much older, and much more important calling: to care for the sojourner, the poor, the orphan, and the widow. That quote comes from Rembrandt is in the Wind, but it echoes straight from Scripture. It’s the kind of line that rattles something deep in your chest. Not just because it’s poetic, but because it demands something from us. Those are the kind of stories Plain Values exists to tell. Stories about adoption, special needs, dignity, faith, sacrifice, healing. We'll talk with farmers, widows, grieving parents, quiet heroes, and the people who refuse to look away when the world does. These aren’t easy stories. But they are holy ones. And we believe they matter.
