Eight years later they are releasing their multi-genre debut album developing a rock sound spanning the Rolling Stones to the Black Keys, incorporating blues, country, and funk inspirations along the way. A four-piece group with Paul Mutzek on lead guitar and producer/instrumentalist Doug Epstein, WAS finds its home in NYC while growing its following and community of contributing artists around New York. A selection of tracks written recently and decades ago, This Is WAS is an album seventy years in the making with styles and influences from all walks of life. We’re old. But we’re also new!
