The ISD 728 is the eighth largest school district in Minnesota, located approximately 35 miles northwest of Minneapolis. We proudly serve more than 60,000 resident learners and more than 12,000 K-12 students in all or parts of Albertville, Dayton, Elk River, Otsego, Ramsey, Rogers, St. Michael, Zimmerman and the townships of Big Lake, Baldwin, Burns, Hassan, Livonia, Nowthen, Orrock and Stanford.
Our district has a total of 17 schools; 9 elementary schools (K-5), 4 middle schools (6-8) and 4 high schools (9-12), including a secondary-level alternative school. We also have a Community Education program that offers a wide diversity of programs and services. We are committed to providing each and every diverse learner the best education possible and strive to offer comprehensive programs and services that foster each child's intellectual, social and emotional growth.
