The FM Golden Notes Band consists of players mostly over the age of 50 and from the Fargo ND and Moorhead Minn.region who have come back to music, many after decades away from playing. Some of us are quite new to playing. The organization that promotes this concept is the New Horizons Bands, International. The playing skills of our members vary. The social aspect of playing in the band is unique. We have opportunities to perform for various residences and also do annual concerts at a public venue. We try to bring a variety of types of music into our repertoire from pop to band standards and folk tunes. We all enjoy playing together and the audiences enjoy us!
