The Sudden Walk is a new music project from three veterans of the North TX and NYC music scenes. Mike Rudnicki, guitar/vox (Baboon, Boom Boom Box) Sean Donovan, bass/keys/electronics (Calla) Christopher Owens, drums/noise (The Grown-Ups) They recorded their debut EP in Austin with Grammy award-winning Stuart Sikes (The White Stripes, Cat Power, The Walkmen, Loretta Lynn). Their debut singles from forthcoming six-track EP: -- Artificially Genuine (2’56) -- Volcanoes (4’26) Pairs well with Pixies, Brian Eno/Roxy Music, Arcade Fire, New Order as sonic cocktail of kraut-rock, post-punk, and dub.
