SnowStorm formed in 2022.
Roberto "Marshal" La Mantia (voc) earned his stripes with the legendary doom metal band Saint Vitus (USA) and Domina and the Slaves (ZH), and currently also fronts the Sedel band motorslug.
Pete Borel (guit), an experienced studio and session musician, has played with the Bucks, the Dead End Cowboys, and has also shared the stage with Emmylou Harris and the Dixie Chicks.
Their shared band times in Lucerne date back to the 1980s. After shorter (Pete) and longer (Marshal) stints in the USA, each of them continued on their own musical paths until Pete and Marshal reunited in 2022 for the band project SnowStorm. The musical vision of the duo has continuously evolved and has now taken clear shape.
