Kenton Cool is one of the world’s leading high-altitude climbers, an avid adventurer and also a highly engaging and inspiring motivational speaker. He has successfully climbed Mount Everest 19 times and holds the non-Sherpa record for number of ascents of the highest mountain in the world. He has also climbed many other mountain peaks around the globe, including K2. He is the only Briton to ski down two 8,000m peaks and is an elite IFMGA guide.
His goal is to inspire the next generation.
Ever since the young and heady days of his first expedition, to Pakistan when he was 19, Kenton has been completely in love with climbing in the high mountains. Now Kenton has mounted and completed over 44 successful expeditions.
He holds the highest success rate of any mountain guide on Everest, in May 2007 he even motivated himself to summit the peak twice in one week.
