At Prog On The Ranch and Late Night Live on Cruise To The Edge, musicians gather from all over the world to play cover songs by their favorite bands. These songs are performed with no prior rehearsal as a band. We sign up for our instrument part on a grid available on the internet. Each performer is responsible to learn their part and show up prepaered to play the song. We do use facebook messenger groups to discuss song arrangement, intro's and endings, and division of labor for various instrument parts and vocal harmony. Then we get together and go for it, LIVE!, sometimes meeting each other in person just minutes before taking the stage. And when. we do it on Cruise To The Edge, many times the band members that wrote and recorded the song will be in the audience to watch the ship passengers perform their songs.
